Happy 4th!

Confession: I love fireworks. I'm not sure what it is about plumes of colored fire beging shot into the sky that excites me so much, but I've always been a fan. Maybe it's because I am on a constant and so far unsuccessful quest to see the Aurora Borealis just once in my life and I tell myself that fireworks are  a close second.

I was not disappointed in the fireworks department this past week; I caught the tail-end of a 4th of July show when some friends and I decided to grab a drink at the Mountainview, and then I learned that I was "strongly encouraged" to attend the theater's fireworks show the following day. As it turns out, one of the theater's technicians puts on his own show in the field behind the barn . They do NOT take this "Live Free" thing lightly up here.

1.) A rainy drive to Littleton
2 - 5.) Happy 4th! (and 5th!)
6.) The scene shop turned temporary firework prep station
7.) Did I spend most of my day off napping on a hammock? Yes. Yes I did.
